CMSD students on "America's Got Talent"
Good News and a reason to celebrate about 3 CMSD graduates and Cleveland residents.
On Tuesday August 3rd, 2010 we have the opportunity to cheer on and vote for some of our very own on America's Got Talent on NBC.
Nu Covenant which is a group of 4 young men will be performing and competing for one of the final spots.
Wille McMillon, Michael McMillon and Marc McMillon all went to Newton D.Baker School of Arts. Wille and Michael graduated from CSA and Marc Graduated from East High.
Their cousin Christopher Merritt graduated from Cleveland Heights High.
The young men (18 -24 yrs.) have been communicating daily with their former teachers and they are hoping to represent their city: Cleveland and CMSD wonderfully. They did great in the Chicago and Las Vegas auditions.
We are all very proud of these young men's achievement and hope you can join us in their journey in music. One of the young men attributes this musical journey to his elementary music teacher:Judy Moore who is retiring in this spring.
I hope you can find the time to experience their joy in music and vote them into the finals. As teachers we all have experienced the joy of watching our students mature and succeed, now we can have the nation see our Cleveland Municipal School District students succeed.
