All-City Visual Arts offers two different opportunities for student participation. The first is the annual, month-long, All-City Festival that serves as a culminating showcase of students’ art work submitted by any and all Visual Arts teachers in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District that choose to participate.

The submitted works, juried by fellow visual arts teachers and invited arts professionals, are selected for general exhibitions at two Cleveland Public Library locations: Carnegie-West and Memorial-Nottingham Public Libraries. In addition, a further refinement of the selection process generates the All-City Best In Show exhibitions that are first mounted at the Stokes Tower of the  main Cleveland Public Library and later exhibited at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum as part of the All-City Rock Your World Festival.

The second offering for Visual Arts within All-City is a growing and evolving effort intended to offer students opportunities for intensive study and studio opportunities that they might not be able to receive in their regular Visual Arts classroom. All-City Visual Arts currently offers photography and videography for interested students that apply through the All-City Open House process. All-City Visual Arts is looking to future offerings that may include fashion and set design, as well as the traditional foundation art forms such as advanced drawing, painting, ceramics, and design.
